Essential Qualification :
Technical Assistant : -First Class or equivalent Grade in B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in relevant subject Or First Class Diploma in Engineering in relevant Field Or First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Science Or Master’s Degree in Science with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade
Technician : 10+2 with Science from with at least 60% marks Or 10+2 from a Government recognized board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in appropriate trade Or 10 with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in appropriate trade Or Diploma in Engineering of three year’s duration in relevant field.
Laboratory Attendant Senior secondary (10+2) in Science from a recognized board.
Age Limits
Technical Assistant: 30 years
Technician/Laboratory Attendant : 27 years

General Information:
1. Only Indian nationals need to apply.
2. Please read General Instructions to the candidates on the online application portal carefully.
3. Candidates are required to submit ONLINE applications only.
4. Print out of the Online Application form along with payment receipt and all relevant documents must be sent by post/ courier to reach the office of the Registrar, National Institute of Technology Meghalaya, Bijni Complex, Laitumkhrah, Shillong 793003 on or before 20.04.2020 (till 17:30hrs.). Applications filled through OFFLINE shall not be considered.
5. The online application forms shall be available on the Institute website http://www.nitmeghalaya.in/nitmeghalaya/ w.e.f. 19.02.2020 (10:00hrs) onwards till 1800hrs. on 06.04.2020.
6. The Institute may conduct Skill Tests, which will be of qualifying in nature, before the Written Test. The
final selection of the candidates for appointment will be strictly based on merit in the Written Test.
