DAE – IMSc recruitment 2021 : Qualification in Details:
The Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc), Chennai is a National Institute of higher learning which fosters high quality fundamental research in frontier disciplines of Mathematical Sciences. IMSc has intensive teaching programme for award of M.Sc (by Research) and Ph.D. Degree. Applications are invited for filling up the following Project positions under external Project of the Institute on consolidated salary from the eligible candidates who fulfill requisite qualifications/ specifications mentioned therein. The positions indicated under the project, are proposed to be filled purely on contract basis only and there is no scope of continuation/ regularization/ absorption under any circumstances.

1. Positions: Project Assistant
2. No. of Positions: 01
3. Name of the External Project: Percolation and Transmission Capacity in Quantum Network
4. Minimum Qualifications: M.Sc / B.E / B.Tech ( all branches )
5. Consolidated Salary:
a) Candidates with qualified NET/ JEST/ GATE score Rs.31,000/- p.m. + HRA
b) Candidates without qualified NET/ JEST /GATE score Rs.25,000/- p.m. + HRA
6. Duration: One year
Important
1. All those candidates who have been short listed for the position are requested to report as per their schedule allotted on 15/04/2021 (Thursday) for Online Interview. Link for online interview will be conveyed along with list of candidates short listed.
2. Hard copies of applications/ resume received by hand/ post/ courier will not be considered under any circumstances.
3. E-mails received by us without subject, attaching resume and copies of all certificates will not be considered under any circumstances.
Note
1. Mails sent after 1700 hrs on 30/03/2021 will not be considered under any circumstances.

Selection Procedure
1. Only On-line interview through video conferencing for those who meet the minimum qualifications as mentioned at Col. (5) and whose names are displayed on IMSc website after screening.
2. Screened list of candidates will be displayed by us after verifying candidature of the candidates on the other positions” page of IMSc website (www.imsc.res.in) with title of the “opportunities” -> position by 1700 Hrs on 07/04/2021 [Wednesday] along with time and date of online interview with other guidelines. Therefore, short listed candidates only will be called for Online Interview through video conference.
