1) Minimum Education Qualification:
- Category –I Graduate Apprentices:-
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant
- Graduate examination of professional bodies recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to
1.2 Category –II Technician (Diploma Holder) Apprentices:-
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to
2) Age:
Not less than eighteen years and upper age limit is 28 years as on 31.1.2023. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidate, 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for Persons with Disability.
3) Reservation:
The provisions of Govt. directives for engagement of Apprentices in SC/ST/OBC/PWD Category will be applicable.
4) Selection:
Applications received online will be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria. In the event, the number of applications received is more, BCPL may modify the shortlisting criteria at its discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Personal Interview. The final selection shall be based on Personal Interview amongst the shortlisted Schedule for personal interview of shortlisted candidates will be published in the BCPL website www.bcplonline.co.in
5)Duration:
Duration for engagement of apprentices is for a period of one year only.
6) Other terms and Conditions:
- Candidates who have passed out in the year 2020, 2021 and 2022 are eligible to apply in the aforesaid posts. However, engineering graduates/graduates/diploma holder who had already under gone training or having job experience for a period of one year or more after acquiring required qualifications shall not be eligible for being engaged as an Apprentice under the Act.

- The training will be governed by the Apprentices Act 1961 as amended from time to
- Apprentices cannot be assured for company’s accommodation and they are required to make their own boarding & lodging
- No travel expenses will be paid at the time of selection test/interview as well as at the time of joining training
- No transport facility or conveyance allowance will be provided during the course of Apprenticeship
- Since this training is governed under Apprentice Act, 1961 as amended from time to time, there is no assurance of any further extension/employment after completion of the apprenticeship
- Candidates will be required to produce original documents along with one set of self- attested copies of following documents at the time of interview for verification of documents failing which he/she will not be permitted to appear in the interview:
- Document in support of Date of birth proof
- Caste/Tribe certificate/OBC-NCL certificate in the prescribed format
- All certificates/testimonials in respect of all qualifications (all semester/year wise Marksheets) starting from matriculation
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
7)How to apply:

The link will be made available from 01.01.2023 from 10:00hrs onwards. Closing date for online submission of application is 31.01.2023 23:59hrs. Candidates willing to apply for more than one post need to submit separate application for each post
Before registration the candidate must ensure the following:
- Valid e-mail ID, which should remain valid for at least one year. No change in the e-mail ID will be allowed once
- Candidates should have latest passport size photograph as well as photograph of signature in digital form (.jpg or .jpeg only of less than 500 kb size) for uploading with the application
- Candidates are advised to read carefully instructions for online submission of The same is available in the website.
