SAIL Privatization : 5% for one thousand crore | Reduce GOI share in SAIL to 70%  :

Central government plan to sell his 5 % shares of SAIL which is a public sector company for ont thousand crore rupees . This Share will Sell Under OFFER FOR SAIL ( OFS ) , which increase indian government Treasure by 1000 crore .

For this Procedure ie., Disinvestment of 5 % share of SAIL , Department of Investment & Public Asset Management ( DIPAM ) & Steel Ministry Officials plan to organize a road show in Singapore & Hong Kong . But , Due to Corona Virus , Road show of Hong Kong may be cancelled by authorities .

At this time , GOI has 75% Share in SAIL . Previously , Government of India sold 5% Share of SAIL in December 2014 .
