RSPCB Recruitment 2021 – Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board has announced an online job notification for recruitment to the post of Junior Scientific Officer/ Junior Environmental Engineer. There are 114 vacancies  are to be filled for this posts. Interested candidates who are all eligible for this post can apply on or before 23 January 2021. The educational qualification of the candidates must be Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree . The detailed eligibility and selection process are given below in detail.

About RSPCB: The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board is a body corporate constituted under section 4 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. It was first constituted on 7th February 1975, with the objectives of prevention, and control of water pollution and maintaining or restoring of wholesomeness of water. Later, it was also entrusted with the responsibilities of prevention, control and abatement of Air Pollution under the provisions of Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.Under this act the State Board has been given powers to collect Cess on the basis of water consumed by the industries etc.

Detailed Eligibility:

Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board Jobs Educational Qualification:

Junior Scientific Officer: 

• Master’s Degree in any branch of chemistry or Soil Science or Environmental Science or Microbiology from university.

Junior Environmental Engineer:

• Master degree in Environmental Engineering after bachelor’s degree either in Bio-Technology or chemical or civil or Mining or Environmental or Textile Engineering from university. (OR)
• First class Bachelor’s Degree in any of the above branches of Engineering from a university.

Note: working Knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri scripts and knowledge of Rajasthan culture.

Age Limit:

• For General – 18 to 40 years

Upper age is relaxable by:

• For Male SC/ST/BC/BC – up to 5 years
• For Women General/EWS – up to 5 years
• For Female SC/ST/BC/BC – up to 10 years

Total Vacancies:

• Junior. Scientific Officer – 28 Posts
• Junior. Environmental Engineer 86 Posts

RSPCB Recruitment 2021 Selection Process:

• The selection process will be based on written test and interview.

For Jr. Scientific Officer

• Part-A examination comprises of Environmental General knowledge, Environmental Impact Assessment/ Environmental Legislations in India, Water/Waste Water Industrial Waste Water  Analysis, Air and Noise Pollution and Municipal Solid, Biomedical, e-waste, plastic waste and Hazardous solid Waste.
• Part-B examination comprises of General Knowledge (with special reference to history, art, culture, traditions, literature, heritage and geography of Rajasthan, Mathematics, reasoning current affairs)
• There will be one paper consisting of two parts having multiple choice type questions’ There will be total 150 numbers of questions of 3 marks each. The question paper will be only in English
• Each question will carry 3 marks. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer
