NISER recruitment 2022 : The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar set up at Jatni in Khordha district of Odisha by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), has invited online applications from eligible citizens of India for several technical posts.
As per the advertisement, all the engagements will be by direct recruitment on regular basis.
The online application process has already started on October 14 and the last date is December 13, 2022.
NISER Vacancy Details
1. Scientific Assistant-B (Radiation Physics): 1 post
Pay Scale: Level 6 – 35400-112400 as per 7th CPC pay matrix
Essential Qualifications: B.Sc (Physics) with minimum 60% marks.
Age: Minimum 18 but not more than 30 years as on 13.12.2022 for UR category i.e. born on or after 14.12.1992 (both days inclusive).
2. Technician-B (Mechanical): 1 post
Pay Scale: Level 3 – 21700-69100 as per 7th CPC pay matrix
Essential Qualifications: SSC (10th Standard) with minimum 60% marks + Trade certificate of minimum one year duration in the mechanical trade.
OR
SSC (10th Standard) with minimum 60% marks + Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Age: Minimum 18 but not more than 25 years as on 13.12.2022 for OBC category i.e. born on or after 14.12.1994 (both days inclusive).
3. Technician-B (Electrical): 1 post
Pay Scale: Level 3 – 21700-69100 as per 7th CPC pay matrix
Essential Qualifications: SSC (10th Standard) with minimum 60% marks + Trade certificate of minimum one year duration in the electrical trade.
OR
SSC (10th Standard) with minimum 60% marks + Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Age: Minimum 18 but not more than 28 years as on 13.12.2022 for OBC category i.e. born on or after 14.12.1994 (both days inclusive).
Selection Procedure:
Written Test (60%) + Personal Interview (40%) weightage for Scientific Assistant Cadre Posts.
Written Test (100%) weightage for Technician Cadre Posts. Trade Test (Qualifying in Nature) is mandatory for both Cadre Posts.
How to apply:
Only ONLINE applications will be accepted. The applicants should apply online through the website http://www.niser.ac.in on or before 13.12.2022. Candidates are advised to check the Institute’s website http://www.niser.ac.in for further details and updates
The candidates have to pay an application fee of ₹500/- (Rupees five hundred only) ONLINE during the filling of online application. The link for payment of application fee is given inside the online application form. Application fee is exempted for SC, ST, Ex-serviceman, PwD and Women candidates.
