INDIAN-FOREIGN COMPANIES INTERESTED IN RUNNING PRIVATE TRAINS | RAILWAY SOON TO INVITE RFQ TENDER :
Many Indian and foreign companies are interested in running private trains in India. Companies like Talgo,Hyundai, Bombardier which make their own trains are also interested in it. big Indian groups like Tata, Adani along with catering service provider like RK associates are also interested for the same. It is believed that inexperienced Indian companies will work along with foreign companies to run 150 trains in 100 routes.
For this very soon primary stage RFQ tender will be invited. before inviting RFQ railway also called conference for many Indian-foreign companies who were interested. Indian companies like Megha, Beml, Adani Ports and SEZ, RK associates, Tata reality, Indian Forge and Infrastructure and Essel Group took part. Foreign companies which participated were Bombardier, Hitachi, CRRC, Astrome, Seimens, Hyundai, Talgo-who has also given trail of semi-high speed train in India. Irctc, who is running two tejas train, also attended conference.

DIFFERENT ROUTES HAVE BEEN DECIDED-
A total of 100 routes have been decided, In which Newdelhi-Mumbai, Newdelhi-Kolkata, Newdelhi-Bangalore, Anand vihar-Gaya, Anand vihar-chapra, Anand vihar-Bhagalpur, Anand vihar-Barauni,Newdelhi-Katihar, Varanasi-Surat, Patna-Pune, Danapur-Indore, Lucknow-Mumbai, Kolkata-Bhubaneshwar and Kolkata-Mumbai like route is included.
RIGHTS TO DECIDE FARE-
Along with fare, private train operators will also decide ticket distribution, facilities inside the train, food and drinks etc for the the train. Train maintenance, operation, security, related all work will be done by railway employee only. Railway will not have permission to run any train before and after 15 minutes of departure of private train.
